This company was born from a deep desire to support the Indigenous communities I’ve had the privilege to work with across Turtle Island. At its core, it carries a simple purpose.
I grew up with very little family and carried with me a longing to belong to a community. That feeling of belonging didn’t truly take root until I began working with Indigenous Peoples. Over the years, I’ve been welcomed into homes, offered meals, and entrusted with stories—experiences that have profoundly shaped who I am. These relationships have given me a sense of connection and purpose that I carry with me in all that I do. I am eternally grateful and feel deeply privileged as a result of this. This company is my way of giving back the support, trust, and friendship that were so generously extended to me throughout my early career. While I’ve worked in many roles—as a field archaeologist, lab technician, environmental consultant, and regulatory specialist—I felt that none of them allowed me to fully align my work with my values: building genuine relationships, prioritizing learning, and moving at a pace that honours people and process.
I bring a diverse background to this work, including archaeological fieldwork, ethnographic research, technical report writing, economic development, project and data management, and impact benefit negotiation. I am an Indigenous Rights activist, a relationship builder, a knowledge systems navigator. These experiences have taught me not only how to work within complex systems, but also how to hold space for the relationships and responsibilities that matter most. I have a deep commitment to ongoing learning—about the land, the people, the histories, and myself. I believe learning is a lifelong journey, and it’s one I actively seek out in both formal and informal ways. Some of my most profound moments of reflection and clarity come when I’m on a river, up a mountain, or in the woods—places where I feel most at peace and reminded of our shared responsibility to protect the land and waters that sustain us.
Starting this company gave me the freedom to work with communities – to fight alongside communities – to center respect, reciprocity, and care above money and deadlines. It has given me the freedom to be honest. So, who am I? Simply put, I’m an archaeologist and regulatory specialist who decided it was time to step away from the corporate grind and lean into meaningful, community-driven work. I want to do good work, with good people, for good causes—and this company is the vessel through which that vision comes to life. So let’s get started; how can I help you?
